DINNER SILHOUETTE: The Collins

The Collins Glass

The Collins glass is slender and dignified. Narrower and taller than a highball glass, it is imbued with a dry, button-upped style, and fits flawlessly into an art deco inspired setting. The Collins is a classy and perfectly impressive glass for any cocktail of your choosing.

Used often for gin drinks, such as a French 75, or its namesake the Tom or John Collins, its shape compliments rising bubbles and fizzy complexion of drink flavors. Or, perhaps instead of gin, cocktails like a mint julep or long island iced tea are equally as exquisite. From clear and carbonated to colorful and charming, the Collins Glass makes any occasion a sophisticated one.

Some great meals to have beside your gin inspired cocktails in your Collins Glass could be beer battered fish and chips, or perhaps some ricotta crepes with smoked salmon.
