DINNER SILHOUETTE: The Pilsner

The Pilsner Glass

Very similar in shape to the Weizen Glass, the Pilsner Glass appreciates the little things, like the rise of the bubbles and the color of the brew while maintaining the head of foam at the rim. Blonde ales and pale lagers with lots of carbonation are ideal for this glass.

The Pilsner is a little more sophisticated than the other beer glasses, but still down to earth enough in design: nothing fancy or ornate, but interested in the details of each beer it contains. It’s not aiming to drink the most either, as its shape means it contains less than the Pint or Stein could. Its focus isn't on the amount but the quality of its surroundings, like the friends they drink with.

Pilsner beers go great with cheeses, and are a refreshing quench to spicy foods. Pepper poppers, jalapeno nachos, and buffalo macaroni cheese bites come to mind. These tasty snacks are the perfect shareable meal to enjoy with friends and family.
